Southern Illinois Pioneer Coalition

a group of peopleDriven by the desire to make nursing homes, assisted living facilities, and supportive living facilities a better place to live, the Southern Illinois Pioneer Coalition (SIPC) provides training that shows how to allow residents the choice of how and when their care is provided. This is called person-centered care.

National research has shown that facilities that emphasize person-centered care experience a higher rate of resident and staff satisfaction. Facility occupancy rates are higher and staff turnover is lower.

Our Vision

Our vision is to have every resident's individuality and personal choice be valued and respected by all caregivers.

Our Mission
